<A_Henkel> Martina and I are not in the same room anymore, because we don't have the same illness. But we're getting better and that's why wer were able to watch teh race together today.

<A_Henkel> I always said that the decision in the total score will be made in Khanty

<Archi> What kind of race is the best for you?

<A_Henkel> It's all really tight now, and we can scatch two results at the end of the season.
<A_Henkel> the strongest rivals are Anna Carin Olofsson, Kati and Sandrine Bailly.

<A_Henkel> Grubben is also strong, although but she is not going to Khanty Mansiysk.

<A_Henkel> There are a few, even Martina isn't far away.

<Dima> your are friends with Molly, do you have some "mini-competition" between yourselves?

<A_Henkel> The World Championship is rather early this year because of the cross country WCH. We have time to visit friends and family after that.

<A_Henkel> Otherwise , I have friends and family come and visit.

<Helena_Be> Which the elements of trainings the greatest emphasis is done? Or all is paid to all identical attention?

<A_Henkel> There are a lot of biathlon couples, but that's just like at work, i guess.

<Katze> Andrea, i've heard that german men have a tradition that the worst in the relay washes the dishes. do you have smth like that? thanks

<A_Henkel> Molly and I don't have an internal competition. We each have specific tasks...

<A_Henkel> I don't have much time to meet friends. We spend most of the time between the races resting. Depending on your results, you have to spend some time answering questions, too.

<TTM> Hi, how important the world cup total is to you? Are you going to participate every event? Or is the world championships the only main target this year?

<A_Henkel> I trained well in the summer in order to bee good in the winter. What I have now is the result of hard work. I'm very happy that everything worked out as it did so far.

<A_Henkel> The anchor position: I wouldn't mind the anchor spot. There were times when I wanted to but couldn't, so that I' really just happy to be part of the team right now.

<A_Henkel> The WCH is really important, and after that, my focus will be on the World Cup again. I don't want to go there in order to score World Cup points.

<Helena_Be> Is it possible for German fans to look at trainings of the command and communicate with biathlonists? Are women`s and men`s part of team train together or not?

<A_Henkel> The men and he women usually train separately. We're in the same spot a lot, but we have our own coaches.

<A_Henkel> We only train with other nations when we have training competitions.

<A_Henkel> Within the German team it's Martina, of course. Apart from the Germans, my best friend is Christelle Gros.

<A_Henkel> But everybody is really ffriendly, with a few exceptions.

<HOTDOG> Andrea,did you try to convince your sister Manuela to pass to biathlon?

<A_Henkel> My friendship with Martina is really important, because we're together for half a year. But having other friends is also important.

<Katze> Andrea, i think that the German biathlets are the friendliest to their fans? why is it so? do you appriciate them so much?

<A_Henkel> My sister prefers the classic style in cross country skiing. She has been very successful at that, so making her do biathlon wouldn't make much sense, i think.

<Li28> Andrea, when you compete in Oberhof or Rupholding, does this big crowd rather help you or disturb you?
<Gabitoff> Andrea, do fans, for example, in Oberhof prejudice your success at the shooting range, when aother German biathlete is shooting near you?

<A_Henkel> Many of the fans are from germany, and whe they cheer for us, it's an extra kick. It's always nicer to compete in front of a good crowd.

<A_Henkel> But I think that the other athletes feel the same way about that.

<A_Henkel> That's a question of character, or maybe temper.

<A_Henkel> I like cross country, a lot of winter sports in general. I watch a lot of sports

<Katze> Andrea! Last year in Kontiolahti I saw most of the German men team at the night club, but none of the girls? Are your coaches strict about that?

<A_Henkel> The top 15 in the World Cup get an Audi, a leased one. That's a sponsoring deal.

<A_Henkel> Training hours: It's probably about 25-30 in a week. I can't say how much that is ni the whole year

<shootstr8> Do you enjoy racing in North America despite the travel side of it? and do you think you would enjoy more of it if there were more spectators over here in USA and more support when you cross the pond?

<A_Henkel> The attention is nice, and we know that it is growing. But I'm glad that I was able to grow into it a little more slowly than Magdalena Neuner and Kathrin Hitzer. The hype is really different now. But it definitely has it's good sides.

<A_Henkel> We were in Fort Kent, and the event was great. There were a lot of people there, too.
I think we're going back there next winter, or the winter after that.

<A_Henkel> I like the fact that I can go home every now and then, not like the Americans or Canadians.

<A_Henkel> I have to go now, I think.

<A_Henkel> I need to go and get a new passport photograph so that I can get a Russian visa for our trip to Khanty.
